In the world, there are only a handful of cars on the road that deliver as much presence as a Rolls-Royce, with their stylish design, extremely luxurious features, and exceptionally high level of comfort.

The handcrafted models of Rolls-Royce were assigned to the coach building company H.J. Mulliner, Park Ward in the 1960s. They made the Silver Shadow by hand in both coupé and convertible variants. The British car industry had a long tradition of building coachwork, and the Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow is a fantastic example of this. Only the best materials were used, continuing the core values of Rolls-Royce. Consider walnut wood, Connolly leather, and Wilton carpet. The carpet refers to the type of woven carpet known for its durability and luxurious appearance. It is traditionally made using a weaving technique called the Wilton weave, which produces a dense and strong carpet. Wilton carpets can be made from various fibers such as wool, nylon, or a blend of both.

The choice of high-quality materials made it necessary for the production process to take about twenty weeks for the coupé, for example. You might wonder about the consequences for the price. Let's put it this way: compared to a 'standard' Silver Shadow, the average price was almost 50% higher. But of course, we are talking about a brand with a specific target audience; these are often buyers who consciously choose luxury and prestige. By Rolls-Royce standards, the demand was strong. Nevertheless, it remained an expensive car, and according to the literature, 571 units were built, of which only 202 were left-hand drive.

Our Rolls-Royce was delivered on August 14, 1967, in Los Angeles, United States, and includes an impressive amount of documentation. In addition to recent invoices, showing that this example received the necessary maintenance, this Rolls-Royce also includes a significant number of invoices from the past, dating back to the 1960s. In the past, this Rolls-Royce was restored and overhauled.

Of course, a Rolls-Royce is richly equipped from the factory. This Rolls is also equipped with cruise control, air conditioning, power steering, and electric seat heating.
